Background Info.
History:

Hashirama was originally the leader of the Senju clan. Under his leadership the Senju clan came to be regarded as one of the two most powerful clans in the world, rivalling the Uchiha clan. Because of this, when someone hired the Senju clan, the opposing side would hire the Uchiha clan and vice-versa, causing frequent battles between the two. Eventually growing tired of the constant fighting, Hashirama and his clan approached the Uchiha and offered a truce with them. Allied with Madara and his clan, the two groups founded Konohagakure.


Hashirama Senju as the First Hokage


When deciding who should become the leader of Konoha, the villagers selected Hashirama over Madara for the title of First Hokage. Fearing that Hashirama would oppress the Uchiha, Madara left the village, and challenged Hashirama's rule. In the aftermath of their battle, Madara was believed to have been killed, and the Valley of the End was created. To commemorate the battle, two statues, of Madara and Hashirama, were carved into the earth surrounding the valley.


During his time as Hokage, Hashirama came into possession of a scroll filled with kinjutsu, which he sealed away in order to keep the jutsu within a secret. He also defeated Kakuzu, who had been sent to assassinate him by Takigakure. At some point, Hashirama gained control of several tailed beasts. He spread these beasts to other, newly-formed villages in an attempt to maintain peace and equalize the powers between the nations, but it did not stop the outbreak of the First Great Shinobi World War. Thinking about the future of Konoha, he and his younger brother, Tobirama Senju, trained the young Hiruzen Sarutobi.

Hiruzen Stands at 163 centimeters and weighs in at 50.6 kg. His hair was once a deep brown in his youth, but now at his current age it has paled to a very light brown, verging on white. This pale brown hair is short-medium length while being spiked up and pointing somewhat backwards. He also sports a triangular goatee of the same color on his chin. His has two of what seem to be birth marks on his left cheek although they do not seem to be present in his youth, possible age spots. His face, while it somewhat betrays his age, is decently youthful for a man his age. Aside from a few wrinkles he seems to be in good shape. During the majority of his time he is seen wearing the traditional Kage uniform. Hiruzen is also often seen smoking a pipe during his later years. During battle Hiruzen sheds his Kage uniform and wears a black outfit. His forearms and shins are covered by a gray fishnet material while his feel have black sandals. His shoulders are also covered with a gray material while he wears a black cap that has gray armor shingles on the sides of his head. The hat also has two black strands that extend the length of his body and appear to be thin cloth.

Personality:

Hiruzen was the ideal leader and role model during his time as Hokage. He led the village instead of ruling it, and he did so with courage, honor, wisdom, strength and the willingness to sacrifice himself for the people. Contrary to the ideas of Danzo, Hiruzen attempted to make peace of every situation first. When the Cloud villiage attempted to kidnap a Hyuuga and got one of their own killed, instead of declaring war, they met and came to a compromise. This compromise ended up sacrificing a Hyuuga member, but averted war. He also tried to reach compromise with the Uchiha clan before they were exterminated by Itachi at the orders of the elders and Danzo. This difference in philosophy made Hiruzen and Danzo very different characters. To the villagers Hiruzen was more than their Hokage, he was like a father and a grandfather. Especially to Naruto. He never viewed Naruto as a jinchuuriki but saw him as a person, possibly because he was one of the only ones who knew the truth about Naruto's father, and Naruto admired him because of it.

Despite his great qualities he had one downfall. It is something that has plagued many great men throughout history. Girls. He is the original perverted sensei. He is the one who taught Jiraiya, the pervy sage, how to spy on women. He was also known to have fallen for Naruto's sexy jutsu on multiple occasions, something only a true pervert would fall for.

Description: The user preforms a series of hand seals and creates a tunnel of wind between him and his opponent. This tunnel is crafted not for damage, so the sharpness of the wind is greatly reduce, and instead focuses on the pressure characteristic of wind. The user can then send weapons such as kunai or shuriken through this tunnel at tremendously high speeds. However the true purpose of the tunnel is to transport the user. By jumping into the tunnel the user is catapulted forward by the wind pressure at tremendous speeds. Upon entry into the tunnel the time it takes to reach the destination makes it impossible for the opponent to preform a series of hand seals. Because the pressure is pushing towards the opponent, objects cannot enter from that side and will just be immediately pushed away. When the user passes through their tunnel their body receives minor cuts on the surface of their skin.

Background Info.
History:

Hiruzen has always been associated with elite ninja. He was trained by not one, but two Hokages at the same time. These two were of course the 1st and 2nd Hokages. After being trained by these two legendary ninja alongside the two elders, he became a sensei to his own students. These three students were none other than the legendary sannin, Jiraiya, Tsunade and Orochimaru. Hiruzen also had two children, one of which is Asuma Sarutobi, a jonin from the leaf and another who has not appeared in the series. This unnamed child is known to have given birth to Konohamaru Sarutobi. It is also not known who the mother of his children was. Hiruzen was impressed by Orochimaru's natural talent, and hoped to one day name him as his successor for the title of Hokage. This hope however would never be realized as Hiruzen came to realize that Orochimaru was filled with greed and malice, and could never be Hokage. Instead he passed the title to Minato Namikaze, the student of Jiraiya. This choice however would not last long as Minato sacrificed himself in order to save the village from the 9-tails Kyuubi and sealed it inside of his son, Naruto. Sarutobi was forced to reinstate himself as the Hokage, a position he held until his death. Hiruzen soon discovered that Orochimaru had been kidnapping and conducting experiments on Konoha villagers in secret. Hiruzen confronted Orochimaru but was unable to bring himself to kill his former student, allowing Orochimaru to escape. Years later Orochimaru returned to the village in an attempt to destroy Konoha and fought Hiruzen. Hiruzen was faced with two risen Hokages, who despite how much damage they took could not be killed. Using his only option he summoned the death god and sealed away both of the fallen hokage's souls and Orochimaru's arms, preventing Orochimaru from using any further jutsu. The death god had its price however. It also sealed away the soul of the user. Hiruzen gave his life to stop Orochimaru and save the village, and died with a smile on his face. The embodiment of who he was was shown in his death.

Looks: Tobirama was characterized by his blue armor, white shaggy hair, red eyes and his red streaks under his eyes and on his chin. His Forehead Protector is somewhat similar to Yamato's.

Personality: From what has been seen of Tobirama, he had pride in his abilities involving water jutsu. He also had a sense of humor, even under stressful situations. Like his brother, Tobirama felt a great deal of loyalty to the village, and placed its well-being above his own.

Specialty: He wielded the Sword of the Thunder God, a blade with electrical abilities, and was said to have mastered its use despite the lethality. The sword glowed bright yellow and was apparently infused with pure electrical energy thus it's name. The blade was unusual in that, though it appeared to retract into or emanated from the hilt or crossguard like a Lightsaber (and producing the same sound), it was apparently solid and subject to stressing and being shattered when sufficient force was applied. The forces required were extraordinary, however, as a weakness in the blade had to be created first with a sustained attack from Sasuke's Chidori, an extremely powerful lightning based attack itself, and then in order to actually break the sword it needed to be struck with Rasengan in the exact weak point that was created. Before then the sword could easily cut through Chidori and even Rasengan without harm. And he also has the amazing ability to create a massive amount of water for any water jutsu out of thin air.

Background Info.
History:
Both he and Hashirama were revived from the dead by Orochimaru, using Impure World Resurrection, to fight Hiruzen during the invasion of Konoha. While fully aware of what was going on, and saddened that he would have to fight his former student, Orochimaru employed a special seal into the back of their heads to rob Tobirama and his brother of their free will. Hiruzen quickly resolved to kill his masters and used a very powerful fire technique that was easily counted by one of Tobirama's walls of water that was then turned into an attack that was stopped by Hiruzen's own earth wall.

During the battle, he demonstrated great teamwork and combination attacks with his brother, forcing Hiruzen to summon Enma for assistance. Hiruzen was however in his old age unable to defeat the two Hokage, as any damage that was done was simply regenerated and was further inhibited by his desire to not hurt either. His soul along wiht his brother's were eventually sealed by Hiruzen when he combined the Dead Demon Consuming Seal and the Shadow Clone Technique to strike both of them at the same time. Before his soul was completely removed, he and his brother apologized to their former student for the trouble they had caused. But some weird turn of events, he is back alive with reasons unexplainable even by Kishi.

Personality: Minato is calm, collected, and highly perceptive. When faced with an enemy, he can kill in cold blood, and seemed well aware of the terror his reputation inspired in his foes. He appears to be respectful of those around him; he don't like freely speaking about others' pasts, and is said to be a very nice person.

Flying Thunder God Technique; Minato Specializes in this specific technique which gave him the title of “The Yellow Flash”, a technique that doesn’t requires any hand seals, chakra or slightest movement of a muscle, using the method of reverse summoning technique but instead of getting something to the user, it gets user to something, the technique requires a sealing formula, which also serves a all time surveillance purpose, to whomever applied on, Minato can can put this on anyone being in short range with him.
Physical Status; Being proficient in Hiraishin Minato possess a body well adept to It, even without using hiraishin, Minato’s raw speed often blends in causing the opponent to think he’s using the technique, he's flexible to land and move on any surface or shape, never the less he’s quite acrobatic.

The Fusion Swords is a six-piece sword, having a interlocking mechanism, the 6 swords themselves serves a variety of purposes and comes in different shapes and sizes thus suited best weapon for different combat situations, when fused together the form a broad sword which in status surpass all the other component swords.
Main Blade;

Also known as the 1st blade, resembles an exaggerated two-handed sword in its shape and appearance, despite its apparent size and weight. It consists of a long hilt wrapped in a red material, a distinctively large handguard which the other swords are locked into, a wide length of blade, and an equally long but thinner length ending in a point. The main blade is the only sword among the six that is double-sided. The main blade apparently has 2 different forms, One with the blade of the sword appearing to be one solid length of metal except for the transition between the wide and thin halves. In the second, the blade is pulled in two lengthwise; the edges are locked apart and a complex inner portion of the sword is visible.

Hollow Blade;

The hollow blade does not have an inner core as the main blade sword. Rather, it is essentially (though not exactly) a thick sheet of metal folded in a V-shape when looked from above, the edge of the sword being the bottom point of the V, with its lower one-third of its length wrapping around a red double-hilt. The hollow blade is locked onto the front edge of the main blade, where it snugly covers that entire edge of the main blade, and its own edge serves as the striking point for the assembled sword.

Back Blades;

The back blades are identical long swords, mirror images of each other, with one straight edge and one saw toothed edge, with a long black hilt for each. These two swords are attached to the back of the main blade, on both sides of the main blades back edge, with the saw-tooths pointed forward toward the hollow blade. The addition of these two swords completes the trapezoidal silhouette of the fusion swords.

Side Blades;

The side blades are identical, mirror image dagger-like swords, though they are still quite long. They are singled edged, with a gear-like mechanism between the hilt and the blade that allow them to fold up like a switchblade. It is in this folded form that the two sides blades are locked onto the two sides of the assembled sword, with their edges turned forward toward the main blade at the front of the sword. In addition, one of the two blades can be quickly ejected from the assembly if needed. The side blade in unassembled form serves a projectile like purpose, if thrown away the can be controlled by the magnetic core of the 1st blade, to redirect them, though in a rough manner showing that the control over it is really weak and cannot always be count on.

Buster Sword;

The fully assembled form of the fusion auxiliary blades, has the looks of a broad sword, The assembled form of the fusion swords is a heavy sword, most suited to crushing, and is not necessarily intended to serve the role of a slicing weapon as a nodachi would be. It is capable of being used for slicing, however being able to cleanly slice through rebar reinforced concrete with it. Although its appearance is as stout and sturdy, In overall when compared to the other swords, the buster is indestructible (literally or virtually), where destroying the other blades may seem easy, buster can completely resist out the pressure with its unique form, it space vacancies through out the fused blade though weakens the its offensive power, absorbs damage in critical situations.

Shirokeikoku; Shirokeikoku is silver/white katana with a shape that easily overcomes the farce of friction enabling swift attacks.

History:
Also known as Konoha's Yellow Flash, Minato was the Fourth Hokage and the father of Naruto Uzumaki. He was the student of Jiraiya and the teacher of Kakashi Hatake, Obito Uchiha, and Rin. According to those who knew him, Minato was a very talented ninja, having been considered a genius that appeared once a generation. He graduated from the Ninja Academy at the age of ten, and was added to a Genin team under the tutelage of Jiraiya. Jiraiya took a special interest in Minato, and accepted him as an apprentice, amongst other things teaching him the Summoning Technique. In later years, Minato was put in charge of a Genin team of his own, consisting of Kakashi Hatake, Rin and Obito Uchiha. Soon after Naruto was born, the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox attacked Konoha. Minato rushed to the village's help, where he and Gamabunta faced off against the Nine-Tails, but the beast's power could not be matched. Having recognized that the Nine-Tails was being controlled by the Akatsuki member with a mask, and seeing that he predicted his every move, Minato decided to defeat the demon and give Konoha the means to combat against Madara if he should ever attack the village again. He used the Dead Demon Consuming Seal to seal the Nine-Tails into Naruto's body, hoping that his son would someday be able to use its power. When Minato sealed the Nine-Tails within Naruto, he had split its chakra in two, the Yin and Yang. Minato sealed the Yang half within Naruto with the Eight Trigrams Sealing Style, and sealed the Yin half with the Dead Demon Consuming Seal, thus making it inaccessible to Naruto. The act cost Minato his life, and he died as the village's greatest hero.

Personality:

When younger, Danzō was a hot-headed and eager ninja with a strong desire to prove himself. As an adult, Danzō was a calm and collected individual who, like the Root members that served under him, did not allow his emotions to surface. Danzō's beliefs differed from those of the Hokage as he felt that the interests of the village should be placed above all else, even ethics and morals. An extremist, Danzō preferred to directly eliminate threats through assassination and execution rather than diplomacy and negotiation. Danzō possessed a fanatical adherence to the ideals of a shinobi, believing they must sacrifice absolutely everything for the village.

Despite his reputation as a war hawk, Danzō sought peace for the ninja world, one he would achieve by uniting all shinobi forces under Konoha's control. As such, he sought the title of Hokage, waiting patiently for decades before an opportunity arose. To that end, he worked in the shadows to ensure that this future came to fruition. He used Root to eliminate potential threats to Konohagakure with or without the consent of the Hokage and to further him along the path to achieving that rank, as he believed he was best prepared for the "necessary" transition. Because of the nature of his actions, Danzō could not allow the details of what he had done to become public knowledge, and thus he branded members of Root with cursed seals to prevent them from revealing his secrets.

In spite of his amoral methods, Danzō did have some sense of nobility and honor within him. He, after a long internal struggle, volunteered to buy time for his teammates when they were younger, though Sarutobi beat him to it. He reprimanded Sasuke for his hatred and violence against Konoha, saying that it had wasted both the sacrifice of the Uchiha and Itachi's own personal sacrifices. At the end of his fight with Sasuke, he lamented on his former friendship with Sarutobi and then sacrificed himself in a final attempt to protect Konoha, dying with honor.

His fellow elders, Homura Mitokado and Koharu Utatane, held Danzō in high regard, and often took his advice when dealing with the politics of the village. It is unknown how much they know about his actions.

The Sharingan, unlike the Byakugan, is not automatically activated in the user by birth. It is only first unlocked under some stressful or emotional condition after which the Sharingan may be used freely. When the Sharingan is first activated by a user, it has a different number of tomoe (巴) around the central pupil, varying between users.[1][2] The wielder of the Sharingan, through continued use and training, evolves it further which involves gaining more tomoe, up to a maximum of three per eye. As the Sharingan evolves, the user gains heightened abilities. The only level up from the three tomoe Sharingan is the Mangekyō Sharingan, which is gained by the emotional stress stemming from the loss of someone close to the user.

Wood

Wood Release techniques combine earth and water-based chakra to create wood. Wood Release techniques can be produced from anywhere, including the user's body, as the user's chakra is literally converted into a source of life. Wood Release is commonly affiliated with the Snake seal. Hashirama Senju was the originator of this ability, evidenced by the fact that none of his relatives have been shown capable of using Wood Release. The First's ability to use these techniques was the reason for him being given the title of Hokage, and with Wood Release Secret Technique: Birth of Dense Woodland he was able to grow the trees that served as the foundation of Konohagakure. This technique allowed Hashirama Senju to completely reshape the battlefield to his advantage.

Orochimaru, in his quest to harvest the First's abilities, injected his DNA into 60 test subjects, and out of the 60 only Yamato survived. This gave Yamato the Wood Release abilities. However, he is not as masterful as Hashirama. Orochimaru also performed a similar procedure on Danzō Shimura by implanting Hashirama's cells in his right arm. While Danzō is capable of using this power at a similar level to Yamato, it appears to drain Danzō more significantly with each usage, causing Danzō to avoid using it whenever possible. As stated by Madara Uchiha, Hashirama's powers are not so easy to control, and that when Danzō was on the verge of death, the cells in his arm went berserk, trying to swallow him whole by converting him into a tree.

A possibly related technique is the Hokage-style Sixty-year-old Technique - Kakuan Entering Society with Bliss-bringing Hands. This technique produces a seal "sit" (座) on the user's hand that can suppress a tailed beast's influence over its host. This is done by producing wooden dragons from the ground that attach to the host and force the tailed beast's chakra to recede. The First Hokage's Necklace aids in this technique's execution, but its exact purpose is unclear. What is known is that without it, the technique is rendered useless as he stated when the necklace was shattered on the battle between Naruto and Pain

abilities: Although he normally appeared to be a frail old man, Danzō was an extremely powerful ninja. Danzō was able to easily kill several would-be assassins and was able to fight on the same level as Sasuke Uchiha. He also was talented in dispelling genjutsu. Even up to his death, he was considered to be one of the village's best fighters by elders Homura Mitokado and Koharu Utatane.

Implants and related abilities
Danzō's Sharingan.Danzō possessed the Sharingan of Shisui Uchiha, which he normally kept concealed under bandages. It is possible that his Sharingan was damaged, as Danzō stated that Orochimaru's data could help with his eye; however, it is also possible that he merely wanted to increase his ability to use it. Despite this possible handicap, he was very skilled at using Shisui's Sharingan, detecting multiple assassins in the forest and massacring them all. He also had access to a dōjutsu, exclusive to Shisui, through which he could manipulate other people's thoughts without them being aware of it. This technique did not require direct eye contact, as demonstrated when Danzō manipulated Mifune's thoughts without exposing his Sharingan. Danzō stated that he could only use this technique once a day.


The many Sharingan on Danzō's right arm.Danzō's most fearsome trait resided in his right arm, which held a total of ten Sharingan embedded onto it. He normally kept the arm hidden under bandages and a gauntlet-like seal, presumably to conserve chakra. The eyes allowed him access to the Izanagi technique, a jutsu forbidden even amongst the Uchiha clan. When the jutsu was activated, Danzō temporarily gained the power to turn the reality within his personal space into an illusion. With the ability to turn his own body into a genjutsu, Danzō was capable of negating any injury he should receive from an opponent. This allowed him to survive otherwise fatal attacks while still retaining the ability to inflict physical injury to his opponent. However, the side effect of the jutsu was that for every 60 seconds Izanagi remained activated, Danzō had to sacrifice the sight of one of his Sharingan. Also, even with Danzō's physical energy augmented by Hashirama's cells, it still took a substantial amount of chakra to sustain the technique. Danzō could also perform the Izanagi with Shisui's eye, but Madara noted that Danzō might not want to throw the eye's special dōjutsu away.

According to Madara, Danzō's possession of both the Uchiha Clan's and First Hokage's abilities most likely meant that he was after Naruto, with the goal of controlling the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox.

Elemental Release Techniques
Danzō's using Wood Release.Danzō was proficient with Wind Release techniques. He could exhale from his mouth powerful vacuum-based attacks that could either slash like blades or pierce like bullets. He could also use Wind Release to blow himself to safety while in mid-air. Danzō could perform Chakra Flow as well, enhancing a kunai's offensive power by pouring his wind-natured chakra through it.

By having the First Hokage's cells integrated into his right arm, Danzō was able to use Hashirama's unique Wood Release. The implanted cells also had the additional benefit of boosting Danzō's physical energy, allowing him to sustain eleven Sharingan at once despite being a non-Uchiha. Performing Wood Release techniques took a significant toll on his chakra, prompting him to only use it when necessary. It also appeared that he could only use the Wood Release from his right, augmented arm, although he could do so without needing hand seals. Due to his possession of the Wood Release, he might have also been capable of utilizing the two elements that compose it: earth and water. However, after being drained significantly from his battle against Sasuke Uchiha, Danzō lost control of Hashirama's cells, which began to swallow him whole. To prevent that, he disconnected his right arm, along with the Wood Release technique.

Sai and Sasuke arc
Danzō assigned Sai to Team 7 as a replacement for Sasuke Uchiha. Because of this, Tsunade assigned Yamato to the team as well, in order to keep an eye on Sai, in case Danzō had other plans for him. During a mission, Sai made contact with Orochimaru on Danzō's behalf, proposing that the two join sides in order to destroy Konoha. Although believing this to be the evidence needed to prove that Danzō works against the village, Yamato later discovered that Sai's actions were a ruse to get close to and kill Sasuke. When Sai proved unsuccessful and displayed attachment to Team 7, Danzō merely stated that "emotion brings hatred, and hatred brings war".

Twelve Guardian Ninja arc
In the anime, Danzō was shown being followed by ANBU agents, on Tsunade's orders, when he was to be briefed by Tatsuji, a spy of his from Amegakure. He and Tatsuji were apprehended and questioned by Tsunade, although the interrogation was interrupted by Sora, who was discovered eavesdropping.

Invasion of Pain arc When Pain began his invasion of Konoha, Tsunade asked the toad Kōsuke to retrieve Naruto Uzumaki from Myōbokuzan to help defend the village. Danzō killed Kōsuke to keep the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox away from Akatsuki's grasp. Danzō was later shown with the members of Root, instructing them not to help with the defense of Konoha in the hopes that Pain's actions would end Tsunade's reign as Hokage.

Following the invasion, leaders of the Land of Fire and Konoha gathered for an emergency meeting. Danzō convinced the daimyo that each of the previous Hokage had passed on a peaceful ideology to their students. This in turn made them too soft on military issues, resulting in Konoha's destruction. The village now needed a strong and firm leader who would enforce the laws of shinobi and bring order to the world. He stated that he alone was fit to be Hokage. After a brief consideration, the daimyo agreed to appoint him as the Candidate Sixth Hokage.

Five Kage Summit arc
Danzō in Hokage garb.When Danzō returned from the meeting he received a letter from the Fourth Raikage, informing him of the approaching Kage Summit and the actions of Sasuke Uchiha. As his first order, Danzō ordered Sasuke be executed as a traitor to Konoha.

While preparing for the Kage meeting, Danzō gave a number of tasks to Root members. Although he would have preferred confining Naruto to protect the demon fox, Danzō was aware of Naruto's popularity in the village, following his defeat of Pain. He still needed the support of the Jōnin to officially become Hokage, so he settled for keeping Naruto watched at all times. In regards to Anko Mitarashi's search for Kabuto Yakushi, Danzō put off Anko's assassination. He instead instructed Root to find Kabuto before she did, hoping that Kabuto possessed medical information that could help with his right eye and arm.

The Five Kage Meeting Danzō departed for the Kage Summit with Torune and Fū as his bodyguards, after ordering Torune to have his men prevent Naruto from leaving the village. The three were attacked by remnants of the Land of Woods along the way, but Danzō neutralized them single-handedly with his Sharingan. Upon arrival in the Land of Iron and the meeting's start, Danzō did not actively participate, only reporting to the other Kage Madara Uchiha's involvement with Akatsuki. Mifune suggested that the five Kage form an alliance of their villages to eliminate Akatsuki, and, because Konoha's Nine-Tails is the only tailed beast that has yet to be captured, nominated Danzō as the leader.

Ao became suspicious about the proceedings and used his Byakugan to expose Danzō's manipulation of Mifune. Before he could be pressed on the matter, Zetsu appeared and reveals that Sasuke is nearby. A left to eliminate Sasuke, but instructed Ao to keep an eye on Danzō. When Sasuke arrived at their location, Danzō and his bodyguards used the opportunity to flee, with Ao in close pursuit. At some point during their escape, Danzō's party was tackled by Zetsu's Spore Technique, but managed to dispatch the clone. Danzō ordered Fū to stop Ao, and emphasized that the retrieval of his Byakugan is top priority. Fū managed to throw Ao off of their trail, but failed to retrieve the Byakugan.

On their way back to Konoha Danzō and his men were confronted by Madara Uchiha. Danzō instructed Fū and Torune to distract Madara while he unsealed his right arm. Once he was ready, Madara released Sasuke Uchiha and Karin. Danzō, revealing his right arm to show that it was encrusted with Sharingan, voiced his intent to add Madara's and Sasuke's to his collection. Sasuke immediately questioned him about the Uchiha clan's assassination, hoping to find out if the Konoha elders really did force Itachi to murder their family. Danzō confirmed the story and questioned why Itachi would sacrifice peace to tell Sasuke the truth. Angry that Danzō used his brother's name, Sasuke crushed him with Susanoo.

Despite his apparent death, Danzō was unharmed by Susanoo, as well as Sasuke's subsequent attacks. All the while Danzō goaded Sasuke by constantly talking about Itachi, prompting him to fully develop his Susanoo. Sasuke used Susanoo to fire an arrow at Danzō, who was forced to use his Wood Release to divert the attack. Madara, having been observing the battle, surmised that his use of Sharingan and Wood Release must mean that he planned to control the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox. He also identified Danzō's constant escapes from death as the result of Izanagi, which allows him to warp reality, thus avoiding death, and guaranteeing the effectiveness of his attacks. To use the technique, however, he must have at least one active Sharingan, and as the battle continued more and more Sharingan were lost from the technique. When he was finally reduced to one, Danzō and Sasuke clashed for a final fight, with both warriors being impaled with chakra nature blades.

Danzō believed that he had won and told Sasuke to go and join Itachi. He then realized that he has also been injured; his one remaining Sharingan only existed in Sasuke's genjutsu. His depleted chakra levels, coupled with his new injury, caused him to lose control of the First Hokage's DNA, which allowed him to use Wood Release, and he was forced to sever his arm before the DNA engulfed his body and turned him into a giant tree. Unwilling to give up, he took Karin as a hostage and prepared to use Shisui's eye. Sasuke extended a Chidori Sharp Spear through Karin ruthlessly in order to stab Danzō through the heart. Dying, Danzō staggered towards Sasuke and Madara, thinking about Hiruzen and how, no matter what he did, he could never match him, not even having properly become Hokage. With his last breath for the sake of the world, he tried to take Sasuke and Madara with him to the grave by activating the Reverse Four Symbols Sealing Technique, but the plan failed due to Sasuke retreating out-of range and Madara teleporting to avoid the technique. However, even in his last few seconds, Danzō worked towards helping Konoha: in a final act of defiance against Madara, he destroyed Shisui's Sharingan eye to prevent Madara from using it.
